DIY Laptop Stand for $5 in Materials

Have a laptop that needs elevation? For those with a CNC, here's is a super simple project idea for a laptop stand that you can make with a plank of 1x(5+") wood and two lengths of dowel. Not only is it cheaper than anything you could make on a 3D printer (price/cubic inch), but also lighter and stronger if you pick the right wood.Note: This design is optimized for 15 inch laptops with a depth of 10 inches. The front lip that keeps the laptop from sliding off is 3/8" high, laptops with tall chunky rubber feet and/or curved bottoms may require modifications to this design.Project Files:My Process:
